About six years ago, a walkway from my driveway to my front porch door began to fail. I called Hall Masonry, which consisted of Marilyn and Joe. They looked at the walkway, which had been installed at the time the house was built, and consisted of large slate squares, and gravel. They promptly prepared a plan to correct the problem. Knowing that we wanted a more traditional look, they produced a unique and innovative design, re-using the slate (which was a real cost-saving for us), and incorporating red brick and cobblestone. It is beautiful, and was constructed with consummate skill. Their work was highly professional, and the cost of the project was reasonable and well within the estimate they had given us.
Recently they completed a cobblestone border for our driveway, which compliments the walkway. Again, the project was completed on time, and within the budget.
I highly recommend the Hall’s for any masonry project. They are skilled stone workers, and their work is not just functionally sound, but beautiful in design and execution. And their prices are reasonable.
